Terms of Service

The apps

Scrollwise is free. Notchet and DisplayShift are free to try for 7 days, then need a license, bought once. There is no subscription.

A license is for your personal or work use on up to 2 Macs at a time. You can move it to another Mac by removing an old one. Please don't share, resell or publish license keys.

You may not reverse engineer, modify or redistribute the apps, except where the law allows it.

Payments and refunds

Purchases are processed by Polar (polar.sh), the merchant of record, and their checkout terms apply to the payment.

If an app doesn't work for you, email me within 14 days of buying and I'll refund you. A refunded license stops working.

Updates

Updates are free for the version you bought, and the apps check for them automatically. Every update is signed with my Apple Developer ID and notarized by Apple.

No warranty

The apps are provided as is. I work hard to keep them reliable, but I can't promise they will be free of bugs or work with every Mac, app or macOS version.

To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or lost work, from using the apps. If I am liable for anything, it is limited to what you paid for the app.

This website

The text, screenshots and videos on this site are mine unless stated otherwise. Names of other apps and companies belong to their owners and are used only to describe or compare.

Changes and law

If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date at the top. They are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without affecting any rights your local consumer law gives you.
